Stock exchanges propose extending trade hours until 7.30 pm, await Sebi nod

Hong Kong Exchange (HKEx): LME will cut fees on certain trades to levels last seen in 2010, as LME acknowledge high trading fees contributed to lower volumes. Reported by the Metal Bulletin.
Nairobi SE: trading on Kenya’s stock exchange was halted on Friday following the Supreme Court’s decision to annul the Aug. 8 presidential election and repeat it.
NSE and BSE proposed to extend the stock trading session up to 7:30 p.m. to align Indian markets with global ones.

India plans to create an exchange for spot gold. A panel formed by the finance ministry, trade ministry officials, refiners, jewelry associations and export and import firms will meet in November to define contract sizes, delivery rules, trading specifications and other organizational aspects.
